Below you can read about the changes for the May update (5.5.1.1621). This update includes mainly fixes. The new features can be found below.
Overview of changes
New
- Home Assistant has now support for the Broadlink remote. More info can be found on the Home Assistant FAQ-page.
- Scripting: added events for media.
Fixes
- Problem with playlists is fixed, once started, they can now be stopped again.
- ElevenLabs Voices shown in settings window have been expanded. The list of languages we display shows now more than 10 voices.
- Fixed the problem with the “Play Sound” action if the Mind Express filename had certain accents.
- Problem with starting Teamviewer from Mind Express fixed (Menu > Help > Remote support).
- Improved sorting of voices in the dropdown menu in the settings. Now in alphabetical order.
- Cells with the ‘shadow’ style (can be found under colour settings) were incorrectly printed, now printing
correctly again. - Fixed potential crash in the AI plugin.
- The “zoom click” action for eye tracking didn’t work when the user had a pause-field on the page, this is now fixed.
- Issues with grammar no longer correctly being applied to verbs got resolved.
- Nouns where grammar isn’t applied to, no longer have their label changed (“mushrooms” is always added as plural; now the label doesn’t change to “mushroom”).
- Bug when opening the settings window in Windows control mode is fixed. This could give a white screen when opened from Mind Express wile in Windows control mode.
- Problem with a message ending on a newline and not showing this is fixed.
- Fixed a crash with AI when using special symbols as part of a word (for example “[ello” ].
- When Google thinks you are a bot and shows a captcha, the captcha will be visible in Mind Express to interact with. As soon as the captcha is resolved you will go back to your pageset.
- Fixed problem when playing wav files, this could cause a crash.
- Fixed label position dropdown in styles window, this sometimes didn’t show the top items.
